Reliability first
A feed that fails on air costs trust. We teach the habits and checks that prevent it.
About showpointnu
The training hub behind reliable broadcast feeds
We are a UK training centre for professional video operation, live signal management, content distribution and camera work, built by people who run live news every week.
Our mission
Great programmes start with a feed you can trust
News programmes and television broadcasts depend on a chain of people who rarely appear on screen: the operators who frame the shot, the engineers who route the signal and the coordinators who deliver it where it needs to go.
showpointnu exists to give those people the practical skills and confidence to keep that chain strong, whether it is a calm studio bulletin or a fast-moving breaking story.
- Courses led by working broadcast professionals
- Real studio and signal-routing kit in every session
- Small cohorts with direct instructor feedback
Our principles
What guides every course we run
Learning by doing
Every course is built around real kit, real faults and real deadlines, not slides.
Teamwork under pressure
Camera, signal and distribution roles rehearse together, as they do in a live newsroom.
